This is someone who lives to learn, to uncover, to discover, and then pass that knowledge on to others. They are old school, preferring putting pen to paper and chalk to board to write down their thought processes, and lecture face to face rather than via screens. They shepherd knowledge and learners, while being ever open to learning themselves.

Archetype Roster Concept

Learning and teaching, that's what's important. You will never know even a fraction of everything there is to know, and that inspires you to try. Teaching others makes you happiest of all.

He has a degree in it, even!
+ Town History (Positive)

He knows this place. He knows the families and their genealogy.
Spirit: Good
+ Not Easily Frightened (Positive)

He loves scary ghost stories and all things spirity. He doesn't freak out too easily.

Don't go into that dark basement! He does it anyway. Don't get between the monster and that student! Here I come to save the daaaaay!

He should really be using sick days for his heart condition, not to sit in allegedly haunted houses to record EMF.

Perks and Quirks

+ Bloodline Trait: Thistle (Free)

Spirit sensitivity and resistance. Can roll Spirit to sense the presence of ghosts/spirits nearby (Vampires included), and get +1 on rolls resisting their powers.
+ Area of Expertise: Town History (Free)

History teacher and obsessed with the town. Can add an ADDITIONAL +1 to a Brains or Finesse roll once per scene in that field.
+ Area of Expertise: Spirit Lore (10)

Obsessed with Ghosts and Spirits. Can add an ADDITIONAL +1 to a Brains or Finesse roll once per scene in that field.
+ Good Luck (10)

Re-roll 1 die. Once per Scene. You must select which die you wish to reroll.
+ Adrenaline Boost (10)

Can add an additional +1 die. Once per Scene.
+ Bloodline Boon: Thistle (20)

Can roll Spirit to communicate with ghosts and spirits and interact with them. On an exceptional success, can compel them.
- Bloodline Taint: Thistle (10)

Strangeness. The Director will have odd things happen around you that you get blamed for.
- Adult Mindset (10)

They try to rationalize and explain away the supernatural, even when experienced firsthand. Secondhand stories are immediately rejected and rationalized, and firsthand encounters require a Spirit Check - a failure means they start to believe as their adult mindset cannot shut down the possibility that Something Really Happened. A successful roll means their mind re-writes what happened to something more believable (he wasn't flying, he just jumped!).
- Small Favor: (TBD) (10)

To be determined
- Bloodline Bane: Thistle (20)

Creepy. All social rolls with people outside your family are at -1.

Detective Mason Cross (Bonds of Blood)

Police Detective
Mason Cross has lived in Lake Havasu all his life. He only left for college to get a BS in Criminal Justice, then returned and entered the police academy. After 5 years as a patrol officer, he passed the Detective's Exam at the age of 28. Now a Detective Sergeant, he works diligently to investigate the murders and disappearances in the city.

His brother and his wife are religious fanatics, so they're estranged, but his brother's child, Rooney, has gotten mixed up with a gang to get away from them. He has tried to give her a place to go, but so far she hasn't taken him up on it.

Lilah5.jpg

Lilah Callahan (Bonds of Blood)

Student
Lilah came to town in the middle of her junior year with her mother. She was beautiful, mysterious, and seemed like she was wealthy. All a great lure for the teens of Lake Havasu High School. She even caught the notice of Landon Marchant and the two began dating not long after her arrival.

However, the Marchants figured out that Lilah did not have wealth, and the only mystery was that her father was in prison for embezzling money from the accounting firm he worked for back in Chicago. She became very much less desirable, and Landon's brother, Lucas, sabotaged the relationship to end it.

Lilah was hurt, very hurt and very angry that her secrets also were aired, and everyone who knew now looked down on her. That can't end well.
